Worship at the Cathedral

Worship is at the heart of the Cathedral Church of St. Peter.
God brings us together, prayer centers us, and worship reminds us that we are God’s beloved. Worship is an open invitation to all to explore the unique call from Jesus to come and follow him.

Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost | Sunday, November 9, 2025

Services are also available via live-stream on the Cathedral’s Facebook page and on Youtube

Holy Eucharist Rite I | Sunday at 8:00 am

A close-knit community meets in St. Mary’s Chapel, for a traditional liturgy without music. The service is quiet and meditative.

Holy Eucharist Rite II | Sunday at 10:15 am

The 10:15 am Eucharist presents the full beauty of our liturgy, with music, prayers, and sermons. In addition to scripture lessons, this service includes a sung psalm. During this service, we also offer a special Children’s Chapel for children ages 4 through 2nd grade and nursery for babies through age 4.

Midweek Holy Eucharist + Healing Service
Wednesdays at 12:05 pm

A faithful community gathers for this brief mid-week service with scripture, prayers, and a brief homily. All are invited to come to the altar for healing prayers and anointing with oil. Midweek Eucharist provides a meditative respite in the midst of the busyness of life.

advent lessons and carols

Advent Lessons & Carols Sunday, November 30th

Advent Lessons and Carols is a beloved Anglican tradition that helps us prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. Through a beautiful sequence of Scripture readings and music, we trace the story of salvation — from the prophets’ longing for light to the angel’s announcement of Jesus’ birth. The service moves gently from darkness to light, inviting us to pause amid the rush of the season and listen for the promise of hope.

It’s not a concert, but an act of worship — a time to pray through song, silence, and story. Whether the melodies are ancient or new, each carol and reading draws us deeper into the wonder of Advent: waiting, watching, and welcoming the Light of the World.

A spaghetti dinner will follow in Harvard Hall.
