Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
The tradition of a parish prayer ministry is a beautiful part of both the spiritual and pastoral life of many congregations. You are invited to incorporate the Cathedral Prayer List and weekly Prayers of the People into your prayer life.
If you want to pray, but aren’t sure how or what that means, you aren’t alone in that. Prayer can be daunting—even for people who have been living the Christian life and praying for many years. It can feel like a struggle, and sometimes we doubt that we are “doing it right.”
Here is a link to some thoughts that might deepen your reflection:
To add a name to the prayer list, please email Karen Amundrud Beyer. If you or someone you know is ill or hospitalized, please call the Cathedral Office (727-822-4173).

Prayer for Sunday, November 2 (All Saints’ Sunday)
Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord: Give us grace so to follow your blessed saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those ineffable joys that you have prepared for those who truly love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Eucharistic Visitors are available to bring communion to those who, by reason of illness or infirmity, are unable to be at the Celebration of Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings. If you would like to request a visit, or know of someone who would, please contact Karen Amundrud Beyer (amundrudk@yahoo.com).
