As part of our ongoing partnership with Florida Resurrection House, we are excited to host a spring party from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in their courtyard at 800 11th St. N. There is a full lineup of activities and games, and volunteers are needed.

Donate gift cards or other new items for a raffle. If you have unused gift cards, please consider donating them, or feel free to purchase one to add to our raffle. Here is a suggested list of the types of gift cards we need: Publix, Target, Chick-fil-A, nail salons, Bath and Body Works, movie passes. If you have other ideas, please check with Laura Flint (lrprice4@gmail.com) to see if they can be accepted (there are some limitations).

Volunteer to lead an activity. We’ll have a cake walk, a station to take family pictures, crafts for kids, and more. Contact Hillary Peete to volunteer (hpeete@spcathedral.com).

Donate baked goods. Consider donating store bought or homemade cake, cookies, cupcakes, or other sweet treats for the cake walk. Donations can be dropped off at the Cathedral on Friday, April 25, or brought directly to Resurrection House on April 26. Contact Hillary Peete if you plan on donating.

Thank you to Courtney McBaen, Cathedral member and operations director at the Chick-fil-A on Tyrone Boulevard N. She has arranged to donate 60 boxed sandwiches and nuggets for lunch. Welcome back to Marj Nye, who will make balloon animals and other balloon creations for kids during the party.
