The Book of Revelation is the great vision of John of Patmos of the triumph of God and Christ and his ultimate victory. It includes angels, saints, horsemen. It has plagues, trumpets, and some of the most famous passages in scripture, as well as some of the most difficult to understand. It has beautiful songs, and terrifying threats of punishment and promises of reward.
Over 8 weeks, Canon Thomas Willams and Canon Ethan Cole will break open this text (if we can dare to borrow that image from the book itself, knowing that only the lamb is worthy to break open the seals Rev. 5:2) and look for some meaning for us for today in John’s ancient vision.
