All Hallows' Eve

All Hallows' Eve.png

The Episcopal Book of Occasional Services contains a liturgy for All Hallows’ Eve, along with suggested readings. Among these are some of the creepiest passages in the Bible, like Saul’s visit to the Witch of Endor in I Samuel, Ezekiel’s vision of the Valley of Dry Bones, and the War in Heaven as told in Revelation. Witches summoning ghosts, living skeletons, and dragons fighting angels: bring your sense of human to this liturgy!

Dwight Thomas will put on a SPOOKtacular organ concert. Please come dressed as your favorite saint and kids are also invited to wear their Halloween costumes. Following the service, there will be a costume parade in Harvard Hall and then we will gather in the garden for treats and s'mores around fire pits. The young and young at heart are all invited!
