Hurricane Helene Relief
Updated Tuesday, October 1
As our neighbors and fellow parishioners recover and clean up from the effects of Hurricane Helene, the Cathedral family wants to help!
Questions? Contact Rev. Deacon Hillary Peete (hpeete@spcathedral.com)
If you can provide support, please let us know using the form at the link below, and we will connect you with those in need.
If you are in need of any assistance (clearing out your home, food, laundry, etc), please also let us know on the form. We will match folks who want to help with those who need a helping hand.
The Cathedral staff are also working closely with other churches in our deanery and checking in with local groups to see how we can help. We are tentatively planning some opportunities to serve this weekend. Additional details will be made available on Facebook and here throughout the week.
If you would like to help coordinate a service day on Sunday, October 6 or throughout this week, please contact Rev. Deacon Hillary Peete (hpeete@spcathedral.com | 770-598-3622).

Pack-a-Sack for Local Elementary Schools
Sunday, October 13 at 12:00 pmWe will pack as many snack bags as we can for Campbell Park Elementary School and for Northshore Elementary School. St. Thomas’ has had to pause their Pack-a-Sack operation, so we will fill in the gap for children at Northshore. Donations needed! You can purchase through Amazon and bring them to church on Sunday (or during the week). You can also purchase the items at your preferred store and just bring them. It’s okay if we have duplicates!
Ways to Give
The Cathedral has created a designated fund for you to contribute towards that will go to support our parishioners in need. The St. Pete Deanery is also working collaboratively to reach those who need aid. Select “Hurricane Helene Relief” in the dropdown menu.
Donate gift cards to grocery stores and/or restaurants. Cathedral staff will ensure that these cards go directly towards individuals and families affected by flooding. You can leave the cards at the front desk during office hours or on Sunday.
Donate bottled water, cleaning supplies, trash bags, gloves, laundry detergent, and non-perishable snacks. We will make these available to parishioners whose homes have flooded as well as connect with other local aid organizations helping with relief efforts.
