Our service of Choral Evensong on Sunday, October 25, begins with Hymn 610, “Lord, whose love through humble service,” and ends with Hymn 593, “Lord, make us servants of your peace.” Both are appropriate for the month in which we remember St. Francis, friend of animals and founder of the Franciscan order, whose life was characterized by poverty, religious devotion, and obedience.

The service is Dyson in F. An organ prelude begins at 4:45pm, and a light reception follows.
