Bible Studies and Discussion Groups

All are invited to join in discussion about “The Heart of Christianity” by Marcus Borg. In The Heart of Christianity, world-renowned Jesus scholar and author of the bestseller Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time argues that the essential ingredients of a Christian life—faith, being born again, the kingdom of God, the gospel of love—are as vitally important today as they have always been, even during this time of conflict and change in the church.

Step inside Max Lucado’s The Great House of God and discover the rooms of God’s house as places of prayer, belonging, and hope. Together we’ll explore the Lord’s Prayer through vivid imagery — God’s living room of welcome, the kitchen of daily bread, the dining room of forgiveness, the hallway of temptation, the attic of eternity, and more.

This 5 week series will meet for one hour each week and is open to all who want to deepen their life of prayer and community. Come and find your place in God’s house!

Led by cathedral clergy, we’ll meet in the Chapter Room on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 Copies of the book will be available for purchase ($12) at the front desk.
