Exodus Bible Study
Wednesdays, September 11, 18 and October 9 and 16 and 23 at 6:30 pm on Zoom
The second book of the Bible, Exodus recounts the journey of the Israelites from slavery to freedom. We hear the great stories of Moses, from his discovery by Pharaoh’s daughter on the bank of the river to the burning bush to his presentation of the Ten Commandments. Along the way, we encounter God’s covenant and explore the grand theme of redemption.
Led by Hillary Peete, over the course of 5 weeks we will dive into the structure of this book as well as specific stories. The reading guide will be posted here at the beginning of September.
If you’d like additional reading to supplement our weekly scriptures, you can also read “Exodus for Normal People” by Peter Enns. Copies are available for purchase at the Cathedral for $15. This book will be referenced during our study but it's not required!
